Our Evening of Discovery
South Grey is a living mosaic – a region where trails and townships, rinks and rehearsal halls, farms and festivals all speak to who we are. We envision a South Grey where every resident and visitor recognizes themselves in as part of this mosaic, where the full breadth of our cultural life – natural, artistic, historical and communal – is seen, valued, and woven together into a shared sense of place and belonging.
The South Grey Cultural Collaborative exists to connect the people, places and organizations that make up our region’s cultural mosaic – and to help more people discover, contribute to, and feel part of it. No single group, municipality, organization can capture the full breadth of culture in South Grey alone.
By working together across Chatsworth, West Grey, Grey Highlands and Southgate, we can amplify what already exists, fill the gaps among us, and spark a wider cultural awakening – one where residents see their own everyday contributions as part of something larger, and where visitors leave wanting to stay. A collaborative approach turns individual pieces of the mosaic into a shared regional identity: stronger, more visible and more resilient than any single piece could be on its own.
